Saint Luke’s Anglican Church – Holy Week 2024
Walk with us through the last week of Jesus’ life, his death, and glorious resurrection.
Palm Sunday
March 24, 2 PM at Gray Memorial
Wave palm branches and celebrate Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem,
where he was hailed as Savior and King and hear the story of his suffering and death.
Good Friday
Friday, March 29, 6 PM at Incarnation, 1609 Branch Street
We will join the Incarnation Tallahassee congregation for a solemn service where we reflect on the suffering Christ went through for our sake by sacrificing his life for our sins.
Easter Vigil
Saturday, March 30, 7 PM – 9 PM at Gray Memorial
The Church begins in the darkness of Holy Saturday, but then
the new light is carried into the midst of the people and spreads.
We rehearse the story of our redemption, renew our baptism, and then, as lights blaze, we celebrate the coming of the day of His resurrection with a joyful Alleluia!
Bring a noisemaker (a milk jug with pennies, a pot and a wooden spoon, a horn, etc.)
Yes, really!
Easter Sunday
March 31, 8 AM at Gray Memorial
Alleluia! He is risen!
Celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ from the dead.
Bring flowers to decorate the cross.
There will be Children’s Church during the service.
After service, please join us at Cracker Barrel for Easter breakfast (2920 Hospitality St.)
NOTE—we will not have a 2pm service on Easter Sunday.
