Aimee Roberts - Director of music
Aimee Roberts has been serving as a music leader and choir director for over 25 years. She attended Columbia International University, double majoring in Bible and Music with an emphasis in vocal performance before completing a Master's Degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and another in Applied Behavior Analysis. Highlights of Aimee's music career include directing a choir in Handel's Messiah (using a conducting baton made for her by her ESL students, and singing "The Holy City" in Jerusalem. Prior to being called to St. Luke's Anglican, Aimee has served as choir director at First Presbyterian Church of Perry, FL; at Christus Victor Lutheran Church in Columbia, SC, and as Music Director at St. Paul Anglican in Lynn Haven, FL. "It is my absolute joy to meditate on the scriptures of each week, and plan the worship music to enhance each member's experience of worship by coordinating the music with the lectionary. I love to bring music from both ancient and contemporary sources together to help the parishioners worship fully each Sunday."
